My name is Els Aartse and I’m a Fine Art Photographer. I love to create painterly storytelling art. Most of the time I create for myself and put myself within environments I wish to explore. I prefer to be guided by my feelings by capturing what I mean to say in my images. 

I also love to paint whimsical characters and sometimes abstract work. 

Because I feel strongly related to the English literature I write my own poems which I add to an image. This allows me to give more power to the meaning of words.
